We recently picked up some GCS/Giants Casting Shadows Clothing brand t-shirts for the online store. The selection includes the Rime GCS throw up t-shirt and the famous Baby D2 t-shirt. Just restocked on some tunes for the store this week, including restocks on 6Blocc dubstep mix CDs, Pendulum-Jungle Sound double mix album, Quasimoto’s Futher Adventures, John Robinson’s “Who is John Robinson,” Dulok Shaman’s “Fighting 4 Dreams” and a new Boys Noize “BuggedOut!” mix cd. We picked up some new LMNO t-shirts in at Radio Futura. First is LMNO and LRG collaboration t-shirt, “Leave My Name Out.” Dope t-shirt with large print on the front, small print on the sleeve, and the LMNO logo on the back. We have these in small to extra large sizes. LMNO also dropped off some of the “Workethic” and “Devilish Dandruff with Holy Shampoo” t-shirts. Both available in black and run from Medium to 2XL. Our Saturday then continued as we all went out to GCS Santa Ana for the David Flores Art show and 1st Saturday Art walk. It was a great art walk that included b-boys, live female window models, and even burlesque shows. The weekend was full of things to do. Our weekend started on Friday as GCS Santa Ana started the Cosmic Beings in-store tour. Orko and Dulok brought it to Santa Ana in full force. Saturday they blessed us in Pomona for another segment of their in-store tour. Once again a great turn out with amazing performances by all the artists. So I got a chance to listen to the latest Eyedea and Abilities, album “By The Throat.” I have to say it was a breath of fresh air. Some of Eyedea and Abilities’ most innovative work. Rhymesayers described the album best as, “biting guitars, fuzzy keyboards, melodic choruses, and some of their most intricate turntable work to date.” The lyrics are like mind candy, flowing to a grungy guitar riff over a smooth beat. You might be conflicted to believe it is hip hop, but you won’t be able to help from wanting to bob your head. Big-ups to Eyedea and Abilities.
