On Sunday May 20th, GCS Pomona hosted Psycho Realm (Sick Jacken and Cynic) for a signing. Both were on hand to sign copies of the newly released Terror Tapes 2. There was a great turnout. Originally, the signing was scheduled to end at 4 PM, but the line was still going well past 4PM. On behalf of Radio Futura and GCS we would like to thank everyone that came out for the signing.
This gallery contains some photos I just found in a miss-placed memory card. Mostly photos of fans at the table getting their items signed. As always there are more photos after the jump.Read the rest of this entry »

Heist & CO is another line that we have been stocking for some time now. We just haven’t had time to post them in our online store or feature them in a blog post. Well here they are. As always, more photos after the jump!
Donna Summer passed on today. The easy thing to say is that the Queen of Disco is dead, that it is an end of an era. But that would be way too simple. Rather, Donna Summer lives on, she lives on in all the new female dance music vocalists. Without a doubt, there would be no house music divas without her. She paved the way.
When her first albums were released she was criticized as being nothing but a moaner. With tracks like “Love to Love You Baby” and “I Feel Love” you could understand the criticism, but those of us that listened to, and played, the “less popular” tracks new she was a great singer. Donna Summer eventually proved the critics wrong when she crossed over to pop. But I will always remember her work with Peter Bellote and Giorgio Moroder.
Maybe someone else would’ve have come along and blazed the trail if Donna Summer had not. We will never know. We do know that Donna Summer DID blaze that trail, and we are all, especially the DJ Culture, better for it.
For everyone that is a fan of independent Southern California Hip-Hop, we are now stocking t-shirts created by Crop Circles 720 in the shop. Cool Shirts. And, most of all great music! They’ve been in the Southern Cali scene for a while now (I’m thinking maybe 10 years?). In any case great music and cool shirts. I’ve posted a video from their upcoming release and more tees after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
Psycho Realm will be at GCS Pomona, this Sunday 5/20/12 for a meet and greet. They will be signing copies of their new release Terror Tapes 2. Be sure you show up early for the meet and greet, it promises to be a standing room only event. The last time Psycho Realm was at a meet and greet in GCS Pomona, the line curled around the corner down Thomas all the way to 4th. Here is the flyer for the event.
We’ve been stocking Imperfect for sometime now. It’s a new clothing line from the Covina/West Covina area (I know it makes a difference for all the people that live out that way…the rivalry and all). It’s been doing well. Customers like the images and the graphic designs. We also had some of the their cut-n-sew items, but those are all gone (except for one button-up shirt). They’re priced pretty well, tees are in the $20 price range and the sweatshirts are in $35 to $40 price range. In any case, check them out. More images after the jump!
The Clothing Line that I am posting today is Sfynx Apparel. It’s a clothing line started by Daniel Guirguis. There is a brief video on Daniel after the jump. We have a couple of shirts, the Graveyard Shift and the Shrooms. We also have the Skull Bandana (I’ll post that later). Here they are:
So…..It’s been some time since we posted new clothing in the blog and in the web site. That’s not to say that we don’t receive new inventory. In fact, we receive new inventory all the time. Sometimes it sells through too quickly to post, other times we are busy with events at one of the GCS Stores so we don’t have time to post. Well, I will be making a concerted effort to start posting all the new inventory.
First up is 27 Junkies. It’s a clothing line started by Burst Rock. If you don’t know who he is, well, then, check the video after the jump. In my opinion it is one of the best Levi’s commercials. EVER. More images of 27 Junkies after the jump!
